Typical morning frenzy
I'd slept in a bit later than planned so the morning was a bit rushed. I rode with May and crazy Linda from NZ today. About 1/2 a block from the hotel May stopped to take a picture of a church while Linda and I "patiently" waited. Of course some lady wanted to tell May all about the church and then wanted to hear about May's trip so that took a while. There was a light that never turned green, I rode over a rock or something and got a flat, Linda needed to have the bike store change her seat, and on and on. Linda said we needed to get moving because she hadn't packed her nightie. I'm sure she'd never taken so long to ride twenty miles.

Today's ride was very pleasant in all ways especially the absence of a head wind and perhaps even a bit of a tailwind. We rode on a delightful bike path for 7 mi. and some very quiet back roads. We found a fast decent place to share a sandwich for lunch and stopped at Starbucks just before arriving at the hotel.
