| Marilyn toes-up on rest day |
After a relaxing toes-up rainy rest day in Navasota, we set off in a cold drizzle with our warm and waterproof clothing that we hadn't mailed home. We are so fortunate that we weren't riding in the heavy rain that occurred throughout our rest day. It was one of the nicest rides yet, good to great road, very scenic country road and then through the Sam Houston National Forest, and a good place for a Texas BBQ sandwich.
