Today we rode through the town of Round Top where there had recently been a very large antique festival, tents and such were in the process of being removed. We stopped briefly, it was cute as can be. Later we stopped at the General Store in Independence, it was our only place for food. I wished we'd had more time to spend there, it has great historic significance for Texas and old buildings; Sam Houston and family resided there.
Tonight we are in Navasota and we'll have our rest day here tomorrow. I don't think there's much to do here so I suppose my bike will get real clean!
