After breakfast, before we departed, there were many pictures and farewells for Pat who is on her way home. It was a pity because she would have enjoyed Buscher and Bastrop State Park, and the curvy, hilly country roads with blooming windflowers. When we arrived in LaGrange we found a great cafe for lunch and the owner pointed out some places of interest and gave us some history of the area. Near here is where the movie, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, was based on.
