We purposely got a late start leaving El Paso because it was a short day and we'd been warned there was NOTHING in Ft. Hancock to rush for. They were right. We followed the Mission Trail and stopped in San Elizario to see the town and mission. For a break we stopped for lunch in Tornillo, not great and slow. The road was good, it wasn't far, traffic was light, but we had a head wind most of the day. Most everyone stopped for pie across from our (pretty crummy, better than camping though) motel. Tonight we're celebrating Dolly's birthday, so I think there'll be cake!
