Finally, the big day arrived. Weather report was for rain, but it was sunny while we rode from our hotel, single file to Dog Beach. As we arrived the rain really came down, we put on our rain gear and carried our bikes down to the water for pictures. I had a surprise visitor there, Gary, an old friend of Louise Schotz. He introduced himself, took some pictures and carried my bike back to the parking lot. Louise, you are something! Please thank him again for me. Although we only rode 35 miles today, it wasn't an easy day. There were significant hills and quite a bit of rain. The hotel, pool and hot tub, however, are mahvelous!
