Today we got up and ate breakfast, at 3AM! It was ok because our flights were all flying and on time. When I say we, it's not a mouse in my pocket but Helen from Wausau. So, no lost bags or any problems. It was sunny and green when we arrived in San Diego, no piles of snow. After we checked into the HI Bayside we took my bike box outside and I put it back together, no problem with shipping or anything. Well, Helen was anxious to get her bike too, so we walked quite a distance to the bike shop to pick it up. I had no idea San Diego was this hilly, or perhaps we just found the hilly streets. Of course there was time to sit in the hot tub before happy hour. We had about 15 women at the bar making introductions all around, it will take quite a while to keep all the names, states and countries straight.
We even get to sleep with our bikes :-)
