A long, long day! We got a fast early start as a group dodging rush hour traffic in Lafayette. After about 4 miles we were out of town and enjoying the green scenery. We had several bridge crossings and one that we needed to be escorted across which slowed us down and bunched us up. The scenery was much the same as the day before till we crossed the Mississippi and it got hillier.

It was a long ride but we found our slice of heaven at the St. Francisville Inn. I have my own adorable room in the courtyard garden area by the pool. The Inn is centrally located in this beautiful historic town. We had dinner at the other B&B and admired their unique accommodations. Ours is better ;- P
