We left the QI where I again had an upstairs room with Carla from Brazil. We rode on a good recently paved road, US60, then US70. We rode through the San Carlos Apache Reservation which was scenic but littered with garbage and much glass. People continue to have lots of flat tires, and occasional gashes in their tires. About 10 mi. from the hotel there was a great ice cream/snack place and we hung around there and talked with one another and curious locals.

Tonight Linda cooked beef stroganoff, broccoli, and tomato avocado salad. It was great and couldn't have been done without Ann the sous chef, of course!
